For the increasing demand of communication to our off-site development teams in Serbia, we created in one of our conference room a communication station based on Citrix “gotomeeting”. The ingredients are:
- a small pc with windows and a browser and HDMI-interface just to access “gotomeeting”
- a TV as a big Monitor and to deliver sound, with remote control
- a wireless microfone (t.bone TWS one)
- a zoomable webcam, like Logitech BCC950, with remote control
- a wireless keyboard
The main catch is that the station is running half the day, everyone has no setup-hassle and just can walk in and start his meeting on a convenient environment. The station is used by our PO’s regularly and by devs and admins occasionally, whenever they need a direct talk.
